Does it come with conversion software?

Yes. RECORD I comes with every KBS MKI and MFS MKI, with no licence to buy and no subscription. It runs the transport, the light and your camera’s shutter from one window on your Mac, then converts every frame from negative to positive. C-41, ECN-2, black and white and E-6 each get their own pipeline, trained against Noritsu and Flextight reference scans. Every edit you make teaches the Personal Style Engine, so the next roll opens in your look, film by film. Prefer your own tools? The RAW files also open in Negative Lab Pro, Capture One and Lightroom.
